THE PIE PLATFORM

More and more frequently, principles from engineering are being applied by outstanding professionals and entrepreneurs to overcome challenges in various fields. Iniated by the HKIE President's Protege 2014/15, this newly established project, the PiE which abbreviates for Passion ~ Inspiring ~ Engineering, aims to challenge the common definition of engineering through the promotion and articulation of engineering applications beyond professional practice. It is also a new approach to intrigue the public and inspire the younger generations with the wide spectrum of engineering application, even beyond its intended use.
